Felipe is an Attorney at Perera Law Group. Felipe earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

During his time at DePaul Law, Felipe was awarded the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Research and Analysis III and in Pre-trial Civil Litigation Strategies. During his 2L year, Felipe served as the President of the Latino Law Student Association at DePaul Law.

Felipe was also heavily involved with the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. In Chicago, Felipe worked in non-profit organizations and private firms. During his first summer in Chicago, Felipe served as a judicial clerk in the domestic relations division at the John Daley Courthouse in Cook County. During his second year, Felipe worked at the Legal Aid Society, Metropolitan Family Services. There, Felipe held a “711” law student license, allowing him to represent indigent clients in divorce proceedings under attorney supervision. In his final year at DePaul Law, Felipe worked as a law clerk in the products liability department at a prominent Midwest regional law firm.

Having been raised in South Florida, Felipe returned to Miami after law school. He began his career practicing civil rights and labor and employment law. Thereafter, Felipe shifted his focus solely to labor and employment litigation. He joined a national law firm where he represented companies on the employer-management side. He handled a variety of lawsuits involving discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower claims, as well as state and federal claims for unpaid wages. Felipe has also litigated several matters on behalf of clients involving issues of general liability, negligence, and professional liability.

Felipe is a versatile attorney focused on the best interest of his client. As a native Spanish speaker, Felipe enjoys working in South Florida representing individuals and businesses from all walks of life.
